BLOOMINGTON — It took a convincing 47–12 victory over visiting Southwestern in last Friday night’s regular season finale, as the Timberwolves of River Ridge extended their football season with a WIAA playoff bid.

With Friday night’s victory over the Wildcats, coach Wade Winkers’ squad finished 3–3 in Six Rivers conference action, and 6–3 overall.

River Ridge’s non-conference schedule proved to be a difference maker in the Timberwolves claiming the No. 3 seed in their division 7 tournament bracket, while Friday night’s victory made them playoff eligible.
