PATCH GROVE – For the third consecutive season, the River Ridge varsity volleyball team has won the Six Rivers West conference title, doing so this season with an unblemished record of 12-0

In fact, the Timberwolves have swept every team in conference play in three straight sets, and only lost two sets all year long, both coming to Black Hawk at the Six Rivers East Tournament in Monticello to start the season. After knocking off host Highland last Tuesday night by scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-10, the Timberwolves closed out their perfect regular season with three straight wins of 25-14, 25-14 and 25-9 over visiting Cassville the following Thursday night.

“I am very proud of how the girls have won the conference championship now for the third time in a row,” said River Ridge coach Dianne Langmeier. “I am extremely proud of the girls and very happy that all their hard work has paid off for them.”
