It was a very special time for an accomplished group of UW-Superior Distance Learning Center students graduating this Fall Semester 2011. “We share in the pride and joy that our graduating students experience with their families and friends - knowing an important milestone has been achieved,” said Peter Nordgren, Associate Dean for Distance Learning and Continuing Education. “Distance Learning programs,” Nordgren explains, “have made it possible for students to earn a University of Wisconsin degree while continuing their regular activities from family responsibilities to work commitments no matter their location.”
Joanie Dickerson of Bagley, participated in the Winter Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, receiving her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Social Studies.
