Ivan and Arlene Andrews of Darlington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 18, with an open house hosted by their children for family and friends at the American Legion Hall in Darlington.
    Ivan L. and the former Arlene Roper were married on August 17, 1953 at the Methodist Church parsonage in Darlington.
    The Andrews’ children are Allen (Ruth) Andrews, Monroe; Kevin (Beth) Andrews; LuAnn (Roy) Runkle; Carla Simmons; Scott (Deb) Andrews; Bruce Andrews; all of Darlington; Marsha (Kevin) Einsweiler, Shullsburg; Daryl Andrews (fiancée-Lynette Winchell-Moon), Woodford and Sheila Simmons, deceased.
    The couple also has 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one grandchild, Jeremy Johnson, deceased.
