Carroll and Mary Jacobson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 16. Carroll Jacobson and the former Mary Thoni were married in Mineral Point on Jan. 16, 1954.
    The couple has six children: Lynn (Art) Rendon, Dan (Jennifer) Jacobson, Dave (Mary Ellen) Jacobson, Tony (Carolyn) Jacobson, Jim (Carla) Jacobson and John (Terri) Jacobson.
    They also have 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. They will be celebrating with a family gathering on Saturday, Jan. 18.
