A son, Jaxson Gene Wiegenstein, was born 9 p.m.  on January 25, 2016 at the Richland Hospital to Jennifer and Ron Wiegenstein of Viola. He weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.  He joins a brother, Josiah Wiegenstein, 6. Grandparents are Sandy and Steve Peterson of LaFarge. Great-grandparents are Lavonne and Merlin Hisel of Viola, and Spencer Fox of Viroqua. The father is a fork lift driver and the mother is a stay-at-home mom.
