Getting ready for market - - the Farmers Market, that is
in Gays Mills
Placeholder Image

It’s almost spring, and the Gays Mills Farmers Market invites prospective vendors to join in getting ready for the 2015 season. Market sessions will again be held on Wednesday afternoons in the Gays Mills Lions Park shelter, near the corner of Main and Orion streets.

A planning meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, in the Community Commerce Center, from 1 to 3 p.m. Anyone interested being a season-long vendor or selling on a weekly basis is invited. Bedding plants, fresh seasonal produce, eggs, honey, mushrooms, bakery, pickles and preserves, cheeses, and crafts can all be part of the market. Non-profit groups can arrange to sell on a temporary, non-fee basis.

For further information, visit the Market website, www.gaysmaillfarmersmarket.com, the Market’s Facebook page, or contact Deb Johnsen Olson at deborahjohnsen@frontiernet.net or 608-606-3690.
