PLATTEVILLE — A defective brake light resulted in a drunk driving arrest Friday night.

Police stopped a car driven by Mackenzie I. Hoshell, 19, Rosemont, Ill., at 430 S. Water St. around 11:05 p.m.

Hoshell was arrested for operating while intoxicated and being an underage driver of a vehicle with blood alcohol content more than zero. Elisa Defeo, 19, River Forest, Ill., was ticketed for underage drinking.
