The Platteville High School cast and crew of this year’s fall play, “Sorry Shakespeare,” competed in sectional competition at De Forest High School. The annual high school fall play festival is sponsored by the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association. This year’s sectional festival featured performances from 15 schools. Seven productions were chosen to advance to the state festival. Platteville High School was not chosen to advance despite what Mike Willis PHS Drama Director called a strong performance. (Front, from left) Vivian Li served as student director, and the cast included Danielle Dillon as Megan, Emma Bryla as Carrie, (back) Benjamin Hasker as Josh, Thomas Hubl as Jason and (not pictured) Emma Bryla as Carrie. Justin Phillips (not pictured) served as light technician along with EJ Kruser, who was unable to make the trip to sectionals.
