MIFFLIN — The Iowa–Grant Booster Club is asking that the school district, instead of the booster club, raise money for the new football scoreboards.

Booster club members told the school board Oct. 14 that they were concerned that not all businesses might be asked and some might be left out.

The booster club has pledged to donate up to $10,000 of the cost, estimated at $12,000 to $13,000 depending on the scoreboard’s size, plus $1,500 for sponsor panels.
