The Boscobel School Board met in a Committee of the Whole meeting Tuesday night to hear a pair of informational presentations.

The first presentation was from Sue Peterson of School Perceptions explaining the purpose and methods of community surveys in developing strategic plans and referenda to address school needs. The second, given by Dr. John Eickholt, explained the District Administrator Performance Evaluation System developed by CESA 6.

Peterson began her explaining the “why” of community perception surveys, which is to gather the data for what the community sees as important when they are given the list of school needs – anything from repairs and renovations to instructional equipment needs to space and efficiency – along with their prioritization of those needs and their willingness and ability to support projects through taxation.
