Quota International of Platteville, the Platteville Optimist Club and the Ann and Leo Stoll, Jr. Charitable Trust all contributed funds to purchase Soundfield Amplification Systems for the two fifth-grade classrooms at Platteville Middle School.

With the addition of these two systems, Soundfield Amplification Systems are now in all classrooms in the Neal Wilkins School, Westview School, and the fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms in the Middle School.

The benefits of these systems include both increased on task behavior and increased academic test scores for students as well as less vocal fatigue for teachers.

Julie Julius and Molly Jude, fifth-grade teachers, both enthusiastically endorsed the system.

“We use the system all day and it also works with the whiteboard in the classroom,” said Julius.

“When the students give a presentation to the class, they use the microphone,” said Jude. “They love it!”

The systems are purchased from Lifeline Amplification Systems of Platteville. Lifeline is one of the leading United States manufacturers and distributors of classroom Soundfield Amplication Systems.

A total of 45 systems have been purchased for the Platteville Public School District. Quota International of Platteville is fundraising now for another system which will be installed in the additional fourth-grade classroom planned for the next school year.
