Platteville High School will hold its annual Pops Concert in the PHS auditorium Monday, June 9 at 7 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the door to support the Platteville Community Arboretum lighting and paving project, the organization chosen by the Class of 2014.

The concert will be preceded by the annual Music Department awards in the commons at 6 p.m.

The department will also unveil new wooden plaques honoring PHS students who have participated in the Wisconsin School Music Association High School State Honors program. The State Honors program began in 1969, and Platteville has had selected musicians for 42 of the past 45 years.
