Richland County woman injured in Christiana crash

A 30-year-old Richland County woman was injured Sept. 26 in a one-vehicle crash in Christiana township.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, Andrea Connelly lost control of her vehicle at 3:05 p.m. while driving on Hwy. 27, near Erickson Road.

Her vehicle went onto the shoulder on the right side of the road. She over corrected, and her vehicle slid across the highway, went off on the left side of the road, struck an embankment and over turned several times. It came to rest on its top in the ditch.

Connelly sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Tri-State Ambulance.

The Westby Fire and Police departments and Westby First Responders also assisted at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
