Living the dream with Wicked Tine Outdoors
Lukes cougar

Bear hunting season opens in Wisconsin next Wednesday, with 12,850 lucky hunters successfully drawing black bear permits. But if you’re Woodman’s Luke Narvaez and part of the Wicked Tine Outdoors television crew, you don’t wait that long.

Luke and his filming partner, Jordan Mulrooney of Mount Hope, were in Canada last week bow hunting for bear with Bear Trak Outfitters of Thunder Bay, Ontario. That’s where Luke’s partner and longtime friend bagged a monster bruin. The big boar weighed in at 400 pounds. A trophy for sure, but not as big as the 450-pound beast Luke bagged last year from a tree stand.
