Gilbert “Gil” Egge, 95, Decorah, Iowa, died on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at the Ossian Senior Hospice in Ossian, Iowa.

    The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Calmar Lutheran Church, Calmar, Iowa, with Pastor Phillip Olson officiating. Interment will be at Calmar City Cemetery, Calmar, Iowa, with military rites provided by Halverson-Giesen American Legion Post #266. The Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, Iowa, assisted the family.
