John W. Rewey, 87, of Dodgeville and formerly of Prairie du Chien and Platteville, died on Wednesday evening Aug. 5 at UW–Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. Burial with military honors followed at the Prairie Cemetery. Visitation was from 2–6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and also from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Monday.
