Mary P. Dvorak passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at her home, the Narrows Assisted Living near Loganville.  She was born on June 23, 1927.  Mary grew up in Ironton and LaValle, where she met her husband, Adolph.  Mary and Adolph lived in Cazenovia and Madison before retiring to Hillsboro.

Mary is survived by her son, Ed of Madison, her daughter, Jan of Sebastopol, CA; her sisters, Ardith of West Allis, Audrey of Racine; her brother, Gordon of LaValle and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Betty Dvorak of Waupun.  She is also survived by nieces, nephews, her brother-in-law, Robert Hosking, sister-in-law, Jeanne Stittleburg, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph; mother and father, Ella and James Stittleburg; her brothers, Willis and Jack Stittleburg; her sister, Pearl; and her son, Gary Dvorak.

Mary loved to garden and read.  She was always available to play a hand of cards at a moment’s notice.  Mary loved children.  When she entered a room, if she saw a baby, her eyes would light up, she smiled and the child always ended up in her lap.  No loved one ever celebrated a birthday or holiday without receiving a card from Mary.

Mary was loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends and she has loved each and every one in return.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Hillsboro.  Inurnment was in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.  Friends may call at the Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.  The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro assisted the family with arrangements.
