Melvin E. “Mel” Bertram, 83, Platteville, died on Monday, Sept. 11 at Gray’s Nursing Home in Platteville.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen officiated. Burial was at the Harrison Cemetery. Visitation was from 4–7 p.m. on Friday at the Melby Funeral & Crematory in Platteville and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
