Ronald G. “Lefty” Birkett, 75, Cuba City, died Saturday, Sept. 23 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City. Rev. David Flanagan officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 3–8 p.m. on Monday at the Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. There was a parish wake service at 2:45 p.m. Visitation continued from 9–9:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home before the service. A Ronald G. “Lefty” Birkett Memorial Fund has been established.
