The Hillmen can clinch the outright Southwest Wisconsin Conference crown with a victory today over the visiting Blackhawks. The Platteville/Lancaster co-op, lead by junior Sami Brookens and senior Bri Hampton, defeated River Valley 3–1 in the first meeting between the two schools on May 3.

Pecatonica (22–1, 15–0 SRC) at Potosi (11–9, 6–7 SRC), Friday, May 20, 4:30 p.m.

The Chieftains will welcome Division 4’s top-ranked Friday when Potosi celebrates Jerry Downs Day to honor their retiring long-time assistant coach. Downs has coached alongside head coach Ron Kading for each of the past 38 season, but will step down following the season. He will be honored prior to game one of Friday’s Six Rivers Conference doubleheader.      The Southwest Wisconsin Conference title will be on the line Friday in Spring Green.
