SENECA – WAUZEKA-STEUBEN - It was rude welcome for a team with history of success, when Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben traveled to Mauston to play Bangor for the first game of the condensed spring football season.

It was mismatch offensively and defensively, and when it was over Bangor had crushed the visiting Blue-Golds 47-0.

Bangor scored seven touchdowns and two field goals, and missed one extra point. They gained 318 total yards including 247 rushing and 71 passing.

Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben managed to gain just seven yards, rushing on 22 attempts. The Blue-Golds quarterback was 2-6 passing with one interception.

SWS receiver Lucious Cooley caught one pass for 17 yards.

It was a mismatch-pure and simple.
