Harlan “Rink” and Betty Emler of Potosi, will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on May 24, 2012.
Harlan Emler and Betty Richardson were married on May 24, 1947 at the Lancaster Methodist Church in Lancaster.
They have been blessed with three children, Barbara (James) Berntgen, Alan “Sam” (Bernie) Emler and Rocky (Roseann) Emler, all of Potosi. They have five grandchildren, Troy (Cheri Korywchak) Berntgen of Prairie du Chien, Lisa (Eric “Benny”) Gotzinger, Chad (Missy) Emler, Ryne (Heidi) Emler, all of Potosi and Heather (Marcus Groom) Emler of Cassville. They also have eight great-grandchildren, Megan Berntgen, Katie, Kyle and Kalynn Vosberg, Cooper, Addilyn and Connor Emler and Wyatt Emler and another great-grandchild due in October.
The family will be celebrating June 3 at the home of Sam and Bernie Emler in Potosi.
