George and Sue Olthafer of Belmont will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 26.
    George Olthafer and the former Sue Roddick were married on Oct. 26, 1974 at Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville.
    The couple has four children: Jennifer Olthafer (Greg Johnson) of Atascadero, Calif.; Rebecca (Tim) Ryan of Chicago, Ill.; Lindsay (Andy) Rollins of Johnson Creek and George Olthafer of Belmont. They also have one granddaughter, Hannah Rollins.
    The couple celebrated their anniversary with a family gathering in September.
