Christopher and Linda Stombaugh of Platteville, Jeffrey Dierks of Clinton, Iowa, and Debra Crawford of Moline, Ill., are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Brittany Marie Stombaugh and Ryan Jeffrey Dierks. 
Brittany is a 2010 graduate of Drake University and is now completing her masters in counseling psychology at UW–Platteville. She is also attending the University of Dubuque for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 
Ryan is a 2006 graduate of Central College and is currently the executive director of Smart Growth Development in Dubuque, Iowa. 
They will be married Sept. 15 and will reside in Dubuque.
