Kari Olson and Mike Hicks of Blanchardville were united in marriage by Reverend Beth Jacobsen on Oct. 6, 2012 at Glacier Canyon Lodge at the Wilderness Territory in Wisconsin Dells.
    The parents of the bride are Gary and Lori Olson of Beloit, and the mother of the groom is Becky Lyne of Shullsburg.
    The maid of honor was Kelly Olson, sister of the bride. Other bridesmaids included Bethany Arnold, a cousin of the bride; Tammy Waelti, a friend of the bride; and Natalie Dodge, a niece of the bride was a Jr. bridesmaid. Macie Dodge, a niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Tate Schneider, a cousin of the bride was the ring bearer.
    The best man was Travis Wedige, a friend of the groom. Other groomsmen included Dan Heim, a friend of the groom; Dennis Heim, a friend of the groom; and Brason Ballweg, a cousin of the groom, was a Jr. groomsman.
Ushers were Eric Olson, a brother of the bride and Christie Ballweg, a cousin of the groom. 
    The reception was held at the same location as the wedding: Glacier Canyon Lodge at the Wilderness Territory in Wisconsin Dells.
    The bride was a 2000 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and is employed at B&G Foods in Stoughton.
    The groom was a 1998 graduate of Shullsburg High School and is employed at the U.S. post office in Madison as a rural supervisor.
