The Juneau County Economic Development Corporation (JCEDC) of Camp Douglas invites the public to attend a “Small Town Downtown” forum from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Elroy American Legion Hall, 402 Franklin St.

Small towns have unique issues and needs that are often very different from those of larger communities. “Small Town Downtown” forums are intended to bring together those serving and working in and with communities of populations less than 1,500 to learn from each other through case studies, roundtables and discussion groups.

The forums are presented by  the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development, the University of Wisconsin-Extension, the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council, Wisconsin Rural Partners, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
