Lawsuit against Riverway Board moved to Grant County

The venue and time for opening arguments in the Pattison Sand Company vs. Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board case have been moved.

The case, involving the decision of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway Board to deny a mining permit application from Pattison Sand Company, was originally slated to begin at 2 p.m. on March 20 in Crawford County Circuit Court in Prairie du Chien.

The case will now be heard in Lancaster in the Grant County Circuit Court on June 10 at 2:30 p.m. Grant County Judge Craig R. Day will continue to preside over the case.

Pattison Sand Company, LLC et al vs. Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board et al is comprised of Pattison Sand Company, Alan and Kathy Flansburgh, Earl and Amber Pulda, Lee and Joan Pulda, and Rodney and Sandra Marfilius as petitioners and the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board and Wisconsin Department of Tourism as the respondents.
