Probation for drunk driving, prison for bail jumping

A 34-year-old Dickeyville man was placed on six years probation on his seventh drunk driving charge, and two years in prison and one year extended supervision on a felony bail jumping charge.

Brian F. DeBuhr, 237 Rosalyn Ave. apartment 4, was arrested for drunk driving Aug. 12. DeBuhr was arrested on one bail jumping charge and on charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct Oct. 14. DeBuhr was arrested for a second felony bail jumping charge Feb. 17.

DeBuhr pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced May 1.

DeBuhr’s probation term includes no consumption of alcohol, and a ban on entering anywhere where the “principal service” is selling alcohol. He is also required to maintain absolute sobriety and undergo an alcohol assessment and random tests for alcohol.

DeBuhr was also sentenced to three months in jail on the disorderly conduct charge, concurrent to the prison sentence, and three years probation on the second felony bail jumping charge.

A third felony bail jumping charge and charges of operating with prohibited alcohol concentration and criminal damage to property were dismissed.
