Reichling indicted on federal child porn charges

    Timmy J. Reichling, the man charged with 11 child porn related charges in Lafayette County was indicted by a federal grand jury on four counts of child pornography on Thursday, Oct. 10.
    Reichling was charged federally with two counts of producing child pornography, one count of possessing child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
    In Lafayette County Reichling has been charged with three counts of child exploitation, three counts of being a registered sex offender who intentionally photographed a minor without consent and five counts of being in possession of child pornography.
    Reichling is now facing the additional federal charges because he allegedly produced, stored and received images that were transported across state lines, reported the Wisconsin State Journal.
    Reichling’s next appearance in Lafayette County Circuit Court will be on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. for a scheduling conference.
