Platteville police arrested two people for drunk driving in separate incidents Saturday.

Samuel A. Johnson, 48, Cuba City, was charged with third-offense operating while intoxicated and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Johnson was arrested after he was seen in the East Mineral Street parking lot around 3:15 a.m., according to police.

Mark A. Redfern, 65, Platteville, was arrested after a car was discovered in a ditch on West Business 151 around 10:05 p.m., according to police.
