MIFFLIN — The Iowa–Grant Booster Club is working on a new scoreboard for the high school football field.
The school board Sept. 9 approved a request by the club to raise funds with a donor sign at the bottom of the new scoreboard, pending school board approval of the donors.
A scoreboard — black with red LED lights — would cost $12,000 in its current location. Moving the scoreboard to the opposite end of the field, where it would be more visible during daytime games, would cost an extra $5,000 to $6,000 for new poles.
