Employees of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department are raising money for Wisconsin Badger Camp.

Sheriff’s Department employees have volunteered their time to conduct a series of food stands in the various locations throughout Grant County. The first three food stands were in Fennimore, Cuba City and Lancaster.

The next food stand fundraiser will be in the Heiser Hardware parking lot at East Main Street and Water Street in Platteville Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p,m,

“Our goal is be able to provide several scholarships for campers to attend camp next summer,” said Sheriff Nate Dreckman. “We know the importance of being able to attend the camp, and for them to experience one of the most beautiful spots in Grant County. A huge thank you goes out to all the businesses that have donated items for these events, as well as Deputy Adam Day, who organized them all.”
