Story hour to begin in Gays Mills

As summer gives way to fall, the Gays Mills Public Library begins a new season of Story Hour. Story Hour is an hour-long program for pre-school aged children where we play circle games, learn rhymes and finger plays, share stories and make art.

Each program has a theme and October themes center around leaves, apples and acorns. Story Hour is often boisterous as we roar like bears, certainly messy when we paint and hopefully fun for all.

Story Hour is every first and third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am. The programs are geared to children ages 3 to 6, but younger participants usually find something to enjoy as well. If you would like more information about the kinds of things we do each program, please call the library at 735-4331. Story Hour is free as are all library programs.
