GAYS MILLS - Crawford Stewardship Project invites you to our 8th Annual Love the Land Benefit. The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 7-11 p.m. at the Gays Mills Community Commerce Center.
This event celebrates the beauty of this incredible place, and our wonderful supportive community who does so much to protect it. Come out and dance with other inspiring folks!
Enjoy live musical performances by Merry Weathers at 7pm. A Folk Americana Wisconsin band led by Stacy Hanson. They are supported by the core members Jym & Laura Farley who play electric guitar and upright bass. Their authentic style and charm come through in their songs and performances.
Followed by Headliner TUGG at 8:15pm. The west coast of Wisconsin is not typically thought of as a hotbed of alternative reggae music. However, TUGG, hailing from La Crosse, WI has done an amazing job channeling tropical grooves and breezy melodies and has quickly become a top draw in the Midwest and beyond.
Browse our exceptional silent auction filled local artwork, pottery, artisan crafts, gift baskets, and services. Enjoy Driftless Brewing Company local craft beer on tap. Along with coffee, snacks, wine and other treats available for purchase. New this year: we will be serving fresh homemade veggie and meat tamales!
Recommended donation of $10 at the door is much appreciated. All proceeds will go toward furthering our program of empowering local communities to move toward the goals of environmental justice, local control, and sustainable land use.
