If you like antiques and you like tractor pulls, you’re in luck on this Saturday, May 11!

Downtown Gays Mills will be the site of the Second Annual Old Iron Revival Antique Tractor Pull.

Organizers Jim Wedeberg and Wendell Showen are very excited about this year’s pull.

“Last year, we had over 70 pullers, and we are expecting even more on Saturday,” Showen explained.

“We were able to raise $500 last year, and we split donations between the Ocooch Mountain Rescue and the North Crawford Little League program.”

Weigh-in starts at 9 a.m. and the pull begins at 11 a.m. Antique tractors will pull at 3.5 mph, and Antique improved tractors will pull at 4 mph.

Weight classes will be as follows:

3500  4000     4500     5000

5500  6000     6500     7000

7500  8000     8500

The $15 hook fee is to be paid at weigh in. All proceeds will pay for the sled, and any additional funds will be donated to a local charity.

If you have any questions, please call Jim at 651-253-4038 or Wendell at 608-293-1089.

Pull in it or watch it, but don’t miss it. See you at the Second Annual Old Iron Revival on Railroad and Main Streets next to the Last Call Bar and Grill parking lot.
