Former Hillsboro resident injured in rollover

A former Hillsboro resident was injured Oct. 13 in a rollover acccident in Hillsboro township.

Cheyenne Wall, 18,  of Germantown, was taken to Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro after the accident, which occurred at approximately 1:55 p.m. She was later transported by MedLink to La Crosse, where she is being treated for pelvic injuries and skull fractures.

According to a Sheriff’s Office press release, Wall was driving west on Ridge Road, just east of Subera Road, when she failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of her vehicle, which rolled over. Wall, who did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the Hillsboro Fire Department, Hillsboro EMS, and MEd Link Air.

The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
