Ground breaking for new Grant Regional clinic

Grant Regional Health Center held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction of their newest clinic location in Fennimore on Monday, April 4.

The clinic will be located at 1525 LaFollete Street in Fennimore, east on Highway 18 next to Fennimore Smiles and across from the Southwest Tech campus.

Targeted to open by the end of 2023, it will feature local care and convenience for Fennimore and surrounding communities including:

• Grant Regional primary care providers - five days a week, scheduled and walk-in appointments available.

• Laboratory and Radiology services on the main level that any area clinic can utilize.

• Rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy with gym/treatment space in lower level with ground floor access.

• High Point Family Medicine, LLC (HPFM), which currently leases Grant Regional’s existing clinic building at in Fennimore, plans to lease a separate clinic space in the new facility.

Grant Regional Health President/CEO Dave Smith stated “Fennimore has always been important to Grant Regional, and we look forward to investing into Fennimore’s future.”

Lydia McLimans, City of Fennimore Community Development Manager, shared on behalf of Mayor Ryan Boebel that he was, “extremely excited about the new facility GRHC has decided to construct in our city.”
