Onalaska woman injured in one-vehicle crash

A 39-year-old Onalaska woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries Feb. 5 in a one-vehicle crash in Harmony township.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, Cheryl Heath, 39, was transported to a La Crosse medical facility by Tri-State Ambulance following the accident on Wire Hollow Road east of Co. O.

Heath lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve.

Her vehicle went down an embankment and struck another embankment on the opposite side.

She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Assisting at the scene were the Genoa Fire Department and Genoa First Responders.

The accident remains under investigation.
