The Cuba City State Bank clock was installed on south Main Street in Cuba City on Monday, April 4. The clock, located next to the caboose, was placed there because the building next to the caboose was a bank in 1907 and operated as the Cuba City State Bank from 1910-1928. It also served as Cuba City’s post office for many years.

Helping with the install were Jerry Holt, Pat Rogers, Cuba City Police Dept., George Morrissey, Tim Pickel, Cory Oyen, Dwayne and Mike Belken.

Donations are still being accepted to maintain this landmark in the years to come. The clock will become one of the City of Presidents projects to preserve in the years to come. Also, any Cuba City State Bank employees who would like to buy a brick with their years of service should contact Donna Rogers at 563-599-0098 or rogersdrm51@gmail.com.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and formal dedication of the clock will be held on Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at the clock. All businesses, organizations and citizens are invited to the event.
