These cleats will be worn by Alex Erickson in his NFL game against the the Pittsburg Steelers on Dec. 4.

MINERAL POINT – Alex Erickson, former Darlington native and current Cincinnati Bengal football player, contacted Tom Schrader, the Development Director at the Hodan Community Services in Mineral Point and told Schrader that he had selected them as the non-profit charity that he would be promoting during this year’s NFL “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign. Erickson had cleats specially designed with the company’s logo to honor the organization. He will be wearing these special cleats next Monday night, Dec. 4 when the Bengals play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the nationally televised Monday Night Football game at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. After the game, Erickson will have these special cleats given to them to display at Hodan Community Services.
Schrader said they were honored to have their organization recognized in this unique way and wish Alex a great game next Monday night.
“We hope that you get a chance to watch him in action and cheer on our local football hero and special friend to us all,” Schrader stated.
Erickson is married to Kelsi Blosch, who’s sister, Krista Blosch, is a client, employee and friend at Hodan Community Services.
