The Memory Tree, becoming a tradition at the Roth House in Soldiers Grove, is a chance to honor the memory of a loved one at Christmas time.

Strings of lights will decorate a large, beautiful Christmas tree in front of the Roth House Bed and Breakfast, 102 Pine St.

A lighting ceremony will be held Sunday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Cookies and cider will be provided inside afterward.

This year, proceeds from the tree will go to the Soldiers Grove Library expansion project. Along with the name of the loved one to be remembered, a check for $25 per string of lights should be sent by November 25 to the Soldiers Grove Library, PO Box 6, Soldiers Grove, WI, 54655.
