Bessie A. Sebranek, age 97 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Milestone Senior Living Center in Hillsboro, Wis.

She was born on Nov. 12, 1917 to Joseph and Rosie (Rott) Jindrick in the Town of Greenwood, Vernon County, Wisconsin.  She attended the Wood School and graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1935.

Bessie was united in marriage to James H. Sebranek on April 29, 1941 at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro.  She lived at Hillsboro most of her life, where she was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Altar Society.  They also lived at Waunakee for five  years where she worked for the Oconomowoc Canning Company.  They also enjoyed traveling; going to 38 different states.  James preceded her in death on June 15, 2004.

She is survived by her son, James J. Sebranek of Madison; daughter, Joyce (Jerry) Monsler of Elkhorn; grandson, Kim Monsler; and great granddaughter, Ursylla.  In addition to her husband, James; she was preceded in death by her Parents; sister, Josephine Hanson and brother, Richard Jindrick.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro, with Father Don Bauer officiating.  Burial will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery at Dilly.  Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the Church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.  For online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
