Beverly Thompson, age 84 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua, Wisconsin.

She was born on June 17, 1928 to Paul and Elsie (Vaningan) Moon in Beloit, Wisconsin.  Beverly was united in marriage to Gordon Thompson on June 28, 1968.  They farmed for several years in the Hillsboro area.

Gordon preceded Beverly in death on Jan. 3, 2010.  Beverly was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sylvia Sherman.  Survivors include two nephews, David and John Sherman and their families.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Pastor Steven Fossum officiating.  Inurnment will take place at the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.  The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
