PLATTEVILLE—Dale L. Dobson, age 82, of Platteville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Unity Point Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa, after a long and heroic battle with multiple medical complications.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 6, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. James Mehltretter officiated. Burial was at the Lima Union Cemetery, where military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Memorials may be made to the Dale L. Dobson Memorial Fund.
