David P. “Dave” McWilliams, 57, Platteville, died on Wednesday, July 27 at his home, following a long illness.

A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. Pastor Pam Strakeljahn will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville.  Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory and will continue at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
