We are heartbroken to share that Dennis Ross Hyland—”Denny”—the man, the myth, the legend, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Denny was strong, proud, generous, and unforgettable. He touched the lives of countless people through his laughter, larger-than-life personality, endless stories, and adventurous spirit. He was so much more than how his life ended. And unlike Denny‘s well-known trademark of an Irish goodbye, we would like to offer an opportunity to celebrate his life on Thursday, July 30 at Ryan funeral home in Verona, Wisconsin from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson’s Foundation.

The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
