Dorothy Margaret France, 97, of Platteville, formerly of Livingston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at Sienna Crest Assisted Living in Platteville. She was born July 31, 1925, the daughter of Tony and Alvena (Funk) Fuerstenburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort with burial to follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church Saturday morning. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort is assisting the family.
