Dr. Charles SaLoutos, Professor Emeritus, 89, of Platteville, died on Friday, Sept. 27 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Lancaster.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen officiated. Burial was at the Richland Center Cemetery, where military rites were accorded. Visitation was from 5–7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Tuesday.
