Elvera Ann Ihm, 79, of St. Charles, Ill. and formerly Galena, Ill. passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014 at Brighton Gardens, St. Charles. She was born July 1, 1935 in Cuba City, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Helbing) Schardt.

Funeral mass was 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Galena. Friends  called from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena where a parish rosary was recited at 4 p.m.   Burial was in the church cemetery.
